Introduction to the University

The North Harris Montgomery Community College District, now known as The Lone Star College System, is accredited through the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

Adding additions credibility and status to degrees and certificates earned at this college, individual programs at Lone Star are approved by numerous national associations and state agencies.
